The Best Ceramic Coating Installers in Houston

Never Wax Your Car Again

Traditional wax and sealants are great to give your car’s paint additional shine and protection, but when it comes to ceramic coatings, there’s no comparison.

The durability, hydrophobic properties, and gloss that the ceramic coating provides is unmatchable.

For starters, in order to properly apply the ceramic coating, your paint needs to be properly corrected and polished to a 90ish% swirl-free finish. If we applied the coating with properly prepping the paint, you will not get the true benefits of the ceramic coating.

The prep, which can be with our 2-step paint correction service, will remove the imperfections in your paint. This in itself can take 12+ hours to complete.

After that, we’ll remove any residual waxes, polishes, of grease to ensure the paint is completely “naked”. At this point, we’ll apply the ceramic coating.

We’re able to apply the coating to almost all surfaces:

  • Wheels

  • Glass

  • Plastic and trim

  • Painted surfaces (with clear coat)

Protect Your Paint From Houston Weather For Years, Not Months

There’s many options of ceramic coatings on the market. There are coatings that can last from 12 months to 10 years and everything in between. As of now, to keep things simple for our customers, we only offer a 9-year coating for all our customers.

Once you coat your vehicle, that doesn’t mean it’s bulletproof. You can still get swirls and scratches on it if you don’t maintain the vehicle. That means properly washing and drying the vehicle every time you decide to touch it.

But you will notice when you go to wash it, it’s much easier to maintain. The coating forms a shell on top of the clear coat and mud and dirt just glides off.

On top of that, you can enjoy the benefits of the coating for many years.

You can coat almost all surfaces of your car and it will find the same great benefits. For instance, on the wheels, the break dust will be much easier to clean off. This is especially helpful when your wheels get tons of brake dust from regular driving (I’m looking at you Mercedes).

Professional Ceramic Coating Specialists in Houston

From washing your car, to polishing the paint, to applying the ceramic coating, your vehicle will be handled with care to ensure the best final-product. Because it can take 12+ hours to prep the vehicle, we do require you drop off your vehicle at shop for at least 2-days.

We no longer offer this service as a mobile job. When we’re at a home garage or apartment, there’s too many factors that can get in the way of providing amazing results. It can rain, lawns are getting cut, there’s not enough room to work in the garage, debris/pollen all in the air.

At our shop, we’re able to control our work environment much better.

Ceramic Coating FAQs

How long does the coating you offer last?

We offer a 9-year ceramic coating. Although it’s rated for 9 years, it’s also highly dependent on how the vehicle is maintained. For instance, a 6-year coating under the proper care can last 8 years. On the other hand, a 9-year coating can degrade by year 6. We expand more on the ceramic coatings here.

Can you maintain my vehicle after the coating?

Yes! We do offer maintenance programs to keep your vehicle properly cleaned and swirl-free. We can do a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule.

Is the coating scratch-resistant?

This is a pretty big misconception. Although yes, it can handle very very light scratches, it cannot protect you from a cart bumping into your paint or someone keying your car. For that type of protection, you would need some type of paint protection film (PPF).

Is difficult applying the ceramic coating?

The coatings are very temperature sensitive. That can “alter” the coating a bit to where it’s more sticky or the curing time takes longer. On top of that, it’s the hours and hours of prepping the paint that leads you to applying the ceramic coating. So yes, it’s not overly difficult, but to get to the coating part, you have to spend the 10+hours polishing the paint first.
